We are seeking a Risk & Controls Analyst to support risk management and internal controls team for our client in the Media sector.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Financial Control & Reporting - Support accurate financial reporting and maintain effective control environments across all financially impactful processes.
- Audit & Assurance - Act as primary contact for internal and external audits, coordinating audit activity and monitoring remediation actions.
- Systems & Integration - Assess the financial and process impact of system implementations and business integrations, ensuring appropriate controls are embedded.
- Compliance & Governance - Oversee adherence to key policies (e.g., anti-bribery, gifts & entertainment, travel & expenses) and support ongoing governance activities.
- Process Improvement & Stakeholder Support - Drive process improvements, deliver reporting and presentations for senior stakeholders, support training initiatives, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Educated to degree level achieving 2.1 and above
- 2 years+ relevant experience in finance, risk, audit, or internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Advanced excel skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
