  • Perform overall Laboratory coding. Creating Coding Panels in coding Software, Identifies & resolves the more complex issues around pending transactions
  • Directs the accurate & timely processing of claims to meet or exceed client service level agreements
  •  Review quality of claims before final submit to the client.
  • Works with the team to complete assignments using established guidelines, policies and procedures.
  • Daily Denials should be worked & a timeline to achieve targets.
  • Able to review NCD/LCD policies per county, sequencing for Medical Necessity to get higher reimbursement. 
  • Delegating tasks per Client.
  • Coordinate with LAB Team Leaders regarding the billing clarifications.

Qualifications

  • 0-6 Months of work experience in coding Pathology and laboratory procedures.
  • Must possess the knowledge in coding Organ or Disease Oriented Panels, Therapeutic Drug Assays, Drug Assay Procedures, Evocative/Suppression Testing Procedures.
  • Clinical Pathology Consultations, Urinalysis Procedures, Molecular Pathology Procedures, Genomic Sequencing Procedures and Other Molecular Multianalyte Assays, Multianalyte Assays with Algorithmic Analyses, Chemistry Procedures Hematology and Coagulation Procedures, Immunology Procedures, Transfusion Medicine Procedures, Microbiology Procedures, Anatomic Pathology Procedures, Cytopathology Procedures, Cytogenetic Studies, Surgical Pathology Procedures, In Vivo (eg, Transcutaneous) Laboratory Procedures, Reproductive Medicine Procedures
  • Certification from AAPC / AHIMA added advantage.
  • Exposure to Modifiers, CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding with LAB fee schedule. 
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize & manage time efficiently. 
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Mid Shift (12:00 PM to 9:00 PM)
  • Should be able to work from Office
