What you’ll do:
We are looking for a Junior System Validation Engineer to join the Fabric Care R&D Validation Laboratory team. This role ensures that embedded systems, software and firmware behaviors, user interfaces, sensors, actuators, and system‑level interactions in washing machines, washing dryers and dryers perform according
to requirements. The engineer will develop and execute system validation test plans, analyze results, identify failures, and support global engineering teams. This position guarantees that products meet Electrolux standards for functionality, performance, safety,
usability, and reliability.
In detail, you will:
- Perform functional tests on washing machines and dryers (horizontal and vertical axis).
- Validate integration between electronics, firmware, mechanical systems, and product controls.
- Develop and execute system‑level test plans.
- Identify, reproduce, and document system defects.
- Collaborate with global teams to analyze and resolve issues.
- Analyze test data and prepare structured engineering reports.
- Maintain documentation and traceability of all validation activities.
- Create and improve System Validation procedures.
- Work with global R&D teams, sharing results and aligning validation expectations.
As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/EAI).
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechatronics, or related fields.
- Knowledge of embedded systems and electronics.
- Experience with functional testing, data analysis, and test documentation.
- Familiarity with Git (repository).
- Strong technical writing and laboratory safety skills.
- Python for data analysis scripting.
- Embedded firmware in language C.
- Experience in laboratory environmental
- Advanced English.
Where you’ll be:
You will be based at the Curitiba Factory Plant, located in Guabirotuba. It will be necessary to be available for national and international traveling two to four times a year. Benefits include:
