Position Overview Reporting to our regional CTO, the Principal Technical Consultant provides overall technical direction and growth on a major CI&T client account by providing excellent technical leadership, facing off to senior customer stakeholders, advising on the effective use of CI&T’s services, and hiring and mentoring technical delivery staff. Main Responsibilities - serve as our most senior technical leader on client delivery engagements across EMEA, supporting the CI&T account  team and facing off to client technology leaders and executives - as principal technical advisor, identify, develop, and support commercial growth opportunities within your client account - in alignment with customer needs, build and extend technical delivery capability through shaping, recruiting and line managing technical delivery staff - mentor and develop upcoming technical leaders - learn and contribute to development of our repeatable AI solution and service offerings - join our regional regional CTO team to share knowledge and co-ordinate across our EMEA client accounts - develop your eminence at external conferences and speaking engagements Mandatory Skills - Excellent client acumen, consultancy skills, written and spoken English - At least 3 years experience in senior architecture or technical director roles spanning multiple concurrent projects - At least 6 months experience as a primary technical lead and advisor at client account level, or business unit level as a permanent member of staff - Proven ability to shape and direct client workshops on tech strategy topics, leadership and governance forums - Experience shaping IT software delivery projects across multiple workstreams - Proven track record hiring and mentoring upcoming technical leaders - Willingness to travel occasionally to client and CI&T locations across the UK and EMEA - Familiarity with typical Agile delivery roles, processes and practices across the full SDLC - Working knowledge of modern AI-enabled and agentic software delivery tools and techniques Nice to Have Skills - AWS certifications, especially AWS Certified Solution Architect, AWS Certified AI Practitioner - Databricks certifications or consultancy experience - Experience designing and building AI systems - Experience shaping IT strategy based on business vision and inputs
