Java/SQL Developer

NOTE- we are looking for strong Java developers who have worked extensively developing for a MS SQL Server back end including writing complex queries in MS SQL and creating joins in MS SQL. This experience MUST be reflected on a candidates resume.

· Candidates within a 3-4 hour drive of Orlando, FL ONLY

MUST HAVE:

· 5+ years Java programming experience

· 3+ years development using Microsoft SQL Server including

o Strong experience writing complex queries in MS SQL

o Experience creating multiple types of joins in MS SQL

· Excellent communication skills

NICE TO HAVE:

· Demonstrated competency in accurately identifying the scope of work and preparing thorough, accurate, and detailed schedule estimates

· Demonstrated competency in designing, programming, and unit testing complex n-Tier applications

· Demonstrated competency in producing clear and thorough technical documentation

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms

· BS / BA in MIS, Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, Engineering or related field

· Demonstrated experience with taking initiative to provide input and resolve issues and problems proactively

· Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new concepts, both technical and business related, and to apply these concepts as needed

· Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple assignments

· Experience working in the restaurant or food services industry

· Experience developing or maintaining point-of-sale (POS) systems

o Preferably using Java on a POS System
