What You'll Do
Our mission is to ensure the stability, security, and continuous evolution of BCG’s internal IT infrastructure while leveraging cloud and AI-enabled technologies to enhance the digital workplace experience.
As an IT Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining reliable internal IT operations while contributing to modernization initiatives. This role combines hands-on infrastructure support with a strong service mindset and a forward-looking technology perspective.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing a high level of customer service through on-site technology support in both home and office environments, over a variety of platforms (e.g. PC, Mac, iOS, Android, etc.)
- Supporting the BCG user community by providing tailored solutions for their technology while on-site in BCG offices, at client locations and at special events.
- Manage the lifecycle of laptops, mobile devices, and endpoint equipment
- Support and operate Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune, and related cloud services
- Provide first-line support and troubleshooting for LAN, Wi-Fi, and Mobile networking issues
- Maintain and improve meeting room AV and video conferencing systems
- Manage incidents and service requests through tools such as ServiceNow, IT Service Management tool and analysing ticket data to proactively identify improvement opportunities.
- Analyze recurring issues and implement standardization or automation where appropriate
- Collaborate with regional and global IT teams on infrastructure and security initiatives
- Contribute to infrastructure improvements with a cloud-first mindset
- Leverage scripting, automation, or AI tools to enhance operational efficiency
What You'll Bring
- Essential
- Broad experience in the following areas: PC/laptop hardware, software, telecommunications, mobile devices, networking, and server administration
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows and/or macOS environments
- Foundational knowledge of LAN and TCP/IP networking
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 environments
- Exposure to endpoint management tools (Intune, SCCM, or similar)
- Experience working with ticketing systems for incident management
- Proactive mindset with strong ownership and growth orientation
- Experience in working with teams
- Desirable
- Basic knowledge of Azure or cloud infrastructure concepts
- Understanding of identity management and security fundamentals
- Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell or similar)
- Exposure to AI tools used for operational efficiency
- ITIL Foundation certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience participating in small infrastructure or workplace projects
