What You'll Do
- Provide high level customer service while supporting case teams and office staff in a fast-paced environment. Support laptops, desktops, MacBooks, smartphones, and telecommunications systems both in and outside the office.
- Assist in preparing and deploying laptops and MacBooks, including configuration and imaging. Support operating systems including Windows 11 and MacOS, and key applications such as Microsoft 365.
- Troubleshoot issues related to Office 365, OneDrive, SharePoint, Endpoint security (Zscaler), and network connectivity. Assist with maintenance of local IT infrastructure to ensure reliability, security, and efficiency.
- Manage hardware and software asset tracking and inventory. Coordinate repair and maintenance of office equipment with external vendors.
- Provide on-site technical support for meetings, events, and office activities. Maintain system configurations according to BCG standards.
- Document and update IT procedures, instructions, and knowledge articles. Support and troubleshoot video/audio conferencing and telecommunications systems in coordination with regional teams.
- Manage incidents and service requests using ServiceNow (SNOW), ensuring proper ticket tracking, updates, and resolution. Analyze ticket trends to proactively identify improvement opportunities.
- Communicate with end users and local, regional, and global IT teams regarding issue status. Participate in local, regional, and global IT projects and evaluate new technologies.
- Assist with general office IT initiatives as needed. There may be occasional travel within Southeast Asia to support regional office needs.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate brings hands-on IT support experience and a solid technical foundation across hardware, software, and networking. A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, along with a minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a similar IT support role, ideally in a professional services or fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience troubleshooting Windows 11, macOS, and Microsoft 365. Familiarity with Active Directory (user account management, access control, group policies), OneDrive, SharePoint, and Endpoint security tools such as Zscaler.
- Hands-on experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow (SNOW). Knowledge of hardware (laptops/Macs), mobile devices, networking, and basic server administration.
- Ability to diagnose problems and provide solutions or escalate appropriately. Strong organisational skills and a process-driven approach in a dynamic environment.
