IT Service Desk Engineer
As our next IT Service Desk Engineer, you’ll help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. From maintaining reliable cloud infrastructure to getting new starters set up from minute one, your work helps the whole business crack on.
Forget long lists, here’s what you’ll actually spend your time on:
Keeping our core infrastructure running smoothly, from Windows Server and Active Directory through to DNS, DHCP and Group Policy
Managing and improving our Azure setup so it’s secure, reliable and ready to scale
Staying on top of patching, backups and disaster recovery, so issues don’t become incidents
Setting up and managing devices using Intune and Windows Autopilot, making sure people can get up and running without the faff
Troubleshooting when things don’t go to plan, from device enrolment to software deployments
Looking after Google Workspace, including user setup, access and security
Supporting identity and access controls like SSO and MFA, working closely with our Security team
It’s not about ticking every box. It’s about turning up curious, ready to crack on. You’ll do well here if you bring:
Experience in an infrastructure or systems engineering role, with a solid handle on day-to-day operations.
Confidence working across Microsoft environments, from Windows Server and Active Directory through to Azure and device management (Intune, Autopilot).
A good understanding of networking fundamentals like DNS, VPNs and firewalls.
The ability to explain technical details in plain English so everyone can make informed decisions.
A practical approach to problem-solving, using tools like PowerShell.
Nice to have, not essential:
Experience with Google Workspace
Microsoft certifications such as AZ-104 or MS-102
