IT Security Project Manager (K-12 industry experience must)
This position will be dedicated to the support of disaster recovery/continuity of operations related activities/tasks as it relates to the CBMS/PEAK systems. The candidate will be required to develop Disaster Recovery and Continuity of Operations Plans, and define exercises/testing of the plans. The state will be responsible for providing the candidate with the business impact analysis and system back-up and recovery plans
Minimum Requirements
15 or more years of hands on experience managing programs in the K12 sector.
3 or more years of experience managing data privacy or information security programs (e.g. training, policy development, process improvement, auditing, management, etc.) within a State Education Agency (SEA).
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with data privacy policies, practices and associated challenges.
Strong oral and written communication skills and experience in the development and/or delivery of adult education.
Demonstrated experience in working with a broad cross-section of stakeholders.
Ability to directly address conflicts and escalate issues where appropriate.
Familiarity with specific SEA challenges around data privacy and security.
Demonstrated understanding and experience in K12 industry is required.
