This type of work—work that changes the world—is what the tech industry was founded on. So, if you're ready to seize the endless opportunities and leave your mark, come join us.

THE ROLE

As a Lead SAP Financials Functional Analyst, you will serve as the global architect for our Accounts Payable and Multi-Bank Connectivity (MBC) ecosystem. You will drive the digital transformation of our financial operations by designing seamless, secure, and automated payment flows that connect our global entities with banking partners worldwide. Collaborating closely with Finance, Treasury, and technical teams, you will ensure our financial infrastructure is scalable, compliant, and optimized for high-stakes global commerce. Your mission is to evolve our Procure-to-Pay lifecycle into a world-class model of efficiency and precision.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Architect Global Payment Ecosystems: Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of SAP FI-AP and MBC solutions, ensuring robust bank integrations and automated payment execution (F110) across diverse international markets.

  • Optimize Procure-to-Pay Performance: Drive business impact by refining 2-way/3-way matching, invoice exception handling, and vendor master data strategies to increase straight-through processing and financial accuracy.

  • Engineered Secure Bank Connectivity: Own the technical and functional configuration of global payment formats (ISO 20022, SWIFT, SEPA) and secure transmission protocols, managing the lifecycle from file creation to bank acknowledgment.

  • Ensure Governance and Compliance: Establish and maintain rigorous financial controls within SAP to meet SOX requirements, managing audit trails, payment authorizations, and segregation of duties.

  • Lead Cross-Functional Innovation: Serve as the primary subject matter expert in partnership with SAP technical teams (BTP, CPI, APIs) to troubleshoot complex integration issues and mentor junior analysts on best-in-class SAP Finance practices.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • SAP Finance Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in SAP FI-AP and S/4HANA Finance, specifically regarding the Business Partner model, automatic payment programs, and complex reconciliation processes.

  • Deep Banking & Integration Expertise: Proven track record of implementing SAP Multi-Bank Connectivity (MBC) and a thorough understanding of global payment standards like ISO 20022, ACH, and SWIFT across multi-entity environments.

  • Technical Integration Fluency: Ability to collaborate effectively on technical architecture, with a strong grasp of IDocs, APIs, and middleware platforms such as SAP BTP or CPI.

  • Strategic Problem Solving: Advanced analytical skills used to resolve complex system bottlenecks and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable functional designs.

  • Stakeholder Leadership: Strong communication skills with the ability to influence leadership across Finance and IT, managing high-priority projects independently in a fast-paced environment.

We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
