Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will serve as a first-line technical and functional support resource for the Global Cash Management (GCM) application, providing expert assistance to end-users, business stakeholders, and internal IS teams. 
You will ensure system reliability, investigate incidents, resolve technical issues, and support the continuous improvement of the GCM landscape.

This role is contributing to the Finance Technology.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Provide technical support for the SAP Global Cash Management (GCM) system, responding to user incidents, requests, and technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve GCM-related problems, including bank account management, advanced payment management, In-House Cash (IHC), and intercompany netting (IC Netting) functionality.
  • Act as the primary support contact for end-users and business stakeholders, providing clear guidance, documentation, and training on GCM system features and processes.
  • Monitor GCM system performance, logs, and alerts; identify patterns and escalate recurring issues to the Application Manager or SAP technical teams.
    Maintain detailed incident and request documentation in the IS service management system; track SLAs and ensure timely resolution.
  • Support system maintenance windows, patches, and minor upgrades with user communication and technical coordination.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams on configuration changes, bug fixes, and enhancement implementations.
  • Create and maintain technical and user documentation, FAQs, and runbooks for GCM processes and common issues.
  • Analyse root causes of technical issues and provide recommendations for process improvements or system optimisation.
  • Ensure compliance with GCM operational procedures, security policies, and financial controls during support activities.
  • Participate in knowledge transfer sessions and training delivery to end-users and internal IS teams.


Qualifications for the role:

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in SAP technical support, SAP functional support, or application support within a Finance/Treasury domain.
  • Experience supporting finance processes, such as Treasury, O2C, and P2P, is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of SAP Finance modules (FI, CO, PS) or related financial systems in a production environment, with hands-on experience
  • Experience with ITSM service management tools (ServiceNow or similar incident tracking systems) is an asset.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose technical issues systematically.
  • Good documentation and knowledge management practices; ability to create clear runbooks and FAQs.
  • Team player with strong collaboration skills; ability to work effectively with developers, functional consultants, and business stakeholders.
  • Patient, detail-oriented, and capable of handling time-sensitive incidents with composure.
  • Proactive approach to identifying potential issues before they impact users.
  • Experience supporting global, multicultural teams and distributed systems is preferred.
