We are looking for an Investigations Lead, Asia Pacific who is curious, principled, and collaborative to join our Ethics & Legal Affairs team, based in our UCB Japan office in Tokyo, Japan.
About the role（職務概要）
このポジションでは、組織の信頼性を守るために、不正や不適切行為が疑われる案件の調査を公平かつ迅速に実施します。調査で得た気づきを基に、予防策の強化や倫理文化の促進にも貢献します。日本を中心にアジア太平洋地域の関係者と連携し、透明性・説明責任・倫理性の向上を支える役割です。
You will be working in a team that protects the organisation’s integrity by leading fair, timely, and robust investigations across the Asia Pacific region. You will provide insight that strengthens ethical culture, improves compliance processes, and reduces organisational risk. You will partner across multiple countries to ensure accountability, transparency, and learning.

You will be working in a team that 倫理・法務の専門家で構成され、地域各国のビジネスリーダー、人事、内部統制、リスク管理など多様な部門と協働します。

You will be working in a team that collaborates closely with colleagues across Ethics & Legal Affairs, People & Culture, business leaders, and local affiliates in Asia Pacific. You will also interact with employees across a variety of functions to gather information, share learnings, and support a strong ethics and compliance mindset.
What you’ll do（主な業務内容）
- 報告案件を評価し、調査または事案分類を適切に判断
- 公平で徹底した調査を内部ガバナンスに沿って実施
- 関係者へのインタビューと事実確認を効果的に実施
- 是正措置・再発防止策・必要な処分のフォローアップ
- 調査から得た知見を共有し、倫理文化向上を支援
- 調査関連の方針や手順の整備・改善を継続的に推進
- Lead investigations to ensure fairness, accuracy, and timely resolution· Assess incoming matters and determine appropriate investigation pathways
- Conduct interviews and gather information to establish reliable findings
- Oversee corrective and preventive actions following investigations
- Identify legal or ethical risks and recommend mitigating actions
- Maintain organised, accurate documentation for all investigation activities

- 製薬業界での実務経験（3年以上）
- 医療領域のコンプライアンスに関する知識と経験
- 日本語ネイティブレベルの運用能力
- 英語での優れた文書作成力とコミュニケーション力
- 多文化・多国籍の環境での協働経験
- 人事領域での調査経験
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
- Experience in compliance or investigations roles
- Ability to work effectively in multicultural, international environments
- Strong communication skills in Japanese and English
- Ability to identify risks, analyse root causes, and propose solutions
- Skilled at conducting interviews and evaluating information objectively
