Responsibilities


Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels to ensure parts availability upon demand.
  • Conduct routine cycle counts, full physical inventories, and discrepancy reconciliation.
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment to avoid production delays.
  • Track lot codes, date codes, and shelf‑life requirements for sensitive components.
  • Apply FIFO/FEFO practices and maintain traceability for all materials.

Parts Administration & Documentation

  • Create, update, and maintain part numbers and component records in ERP/MRP systems.
  • Ensure all parts have complete documentation.

Purchasing & Purchase Order Administration

  • Generate, issue, and manage Purchase Orders (POs) for semiconductor equipment components, materials, and supplies.
  • Review purchase requisitions for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with inventory needs.
  • Track PO status, lead times, confirmations, and delivery schedules.
  • Resolve PO discrepancies, pricing issues, and supplier delivery problems.
  • Maintain vendor records, pricing updates, and approved supplier lists.
  • Support cost‑reduction initiatives by identifying competitive pricing and alternative suppliers.
  • Collaborate with procurement to forecast demand and mitigate supply chain risks.

Supply Chain & Vendor Coordination

  • Communicate with suppliers regarding availability, specifications, shortages, and quality concerns.
  • Track incoming shipments and verify accuracy against POs and packing lists.
  • Escalate supply chain risks such as long lead times, allocation issues, or obsolescence.
  • Evaluate and recommend alternate components when primary parts are constrained.

Warehouse & Material Handling

  • Receive, inspect, label, and store inventory parts following industry standards.
  • Manage dry‑cabinet storage.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with engineering, production, quality, and procurement teams to ensure operational continuity.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) by ensuring components are available upon demand.
  • Communicate inventory risks, shortages, and obsolescence concerns proactively.

Systems & Process Optimization

  • Maintain and improve ERP/MRP data accuracy and workflows.
  • Develop and refine inventory control and purchasing procedures.
  • Generate inventory, purchasing, and usage reports for management.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S, lean manufacturing, and process automation.

Qualifications


 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with semiconductor components, electronics manufacturing, or high‑tech inventory environments.
  • Knowledge of component lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Epicor, etc.).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience issuing and managing Purchase Orders.
  • Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, electronics technology, or related field.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or other quality management systems.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.

Success Indicators

  • Accurate inventory with minimal discrepancies.
  • On‑time availability of parts with no delays.
  • POs managed with minimal supplier issues.
  • Strong documentation supporting compliance and traceability.
  • Proactive identification of supply chain risks and obsolescence issues.

 

Pay Range:

 

USD $73,550.00 - USD $122,580.00 Year

 

Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region
