Inventory Process Improvement Student (12-Month Contract)

Conduct a full assessment and mapping of the current material flow from warehouse delivery to PoU consumption. Document how materials are physically handled, stored, and used, and compare these practices to SAP backflush and consumption logic. Identify gaps, inefficiencies, or failure points in the physical vs. system material-flow process. Support root‑cause analysis of inventory discrepancies, including lost, damaged, or unreported materials. Prepare a complete process map of the “as‑is” state and recommendations for an optimized “to‑be” state. Assist in aligning physical material movements with SAP transactions and inventory‑control best practices. Contribute to standardizing work instructions and updating SOPs for PoU material handling. Participate in cross‑functional meetings and present findings to stakeholders. Support data validation activities, including BOM accuracy checks in coordination with Engineering for required updates. Track relevant KPIs such as PoU stock accuracy (Deviations), discrepancy trends, and cycle‑count findings.
