*International Video Remote Interpreters

Overview: As a Video Remote Interpreter with LSA Video, Inc., you will be a key member of our team in facilitating language communication on a variety of assignments while having the chance to utilize the most advanced technology in the language services industry. Responsibilities: ·         Interpret through web-based VRI system ·         Answering inbound calls in a timely manner ·         Assist clients with basic troubleshooting (refer to manager or IT department if necessary) ·         Provide superior customer service    Qualifications/Experience: ·         Maintain (as applicable) compliance with any national, state, or local licensing and/or certification requirements ·         Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct ·         Attention to detail, while working in a fast-paced environment ·         Strong oral and written communication skills in English and the target language ·         Professional and positive phone manner with clients from all types of businesses ·         Familiarity working in a windows environment (preferred) ·         Experience with VRI systems(preferred) ·         PC Trouble shooting skills (preferred) ·         Previous interpreting experience (preferred)   VRI Technical Requirements:   PC Minimum Requirements ·                  Windows 8.1 or higher ·                  AMD A8 or Intel Core i5 or faster ·                  4GB RAM ·                  40 Mb free space on HDD ·                  High speed internet (5 Mbps Download / 5 Mbps Upload)    Recommended webcam ·                  PC - Logitech WebCam® C920 HD Pro or better       MAC Minimum Requirements ·                  Mac with Intel Core i5(5th Gen) ·                  Mac OS X ‘Yosemite 10.10 or higher ·                  4GB RAM ·                  40MB hard drive space Latest Firefox/Safari and Apple software updates ·                  High speed internet (5 Mbps Download / 5 Mbps Upload)     Recommended MAC webcams ·                  MAC- Internal iSight ·                  Logitech C920 Pro (recommended for best experience).
