Riverside Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Internal Medicine Physician for a 1-year contract opportunity at our well-established practice in Gloucester, Virginia.

👨⚕️ In This Role
You will provide comprehensive care for adult patients, focusing on prevention, diagnosis, and management of a wide range of conditions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions
- Conducting annual wellness visits and routine physical exams
- Managing chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, and obesity
- Administering age-appropriate immunizations and preventive screenings
- Performing well-woman exams, including birth control counseling
- Educating patients on health maintenance, lifestyle changes, and disease prevention
- Collaborating with specialists and care teams to ensure coordinated, holistic care
✅ Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
- A current, valid medical license to practice in the state of Virginia (or eligibility to obtain one)
- A valid DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances
