POSITION SUMMARY
The Legal Intern needs to be a motivated law student. This internship offers hands-on experience in a dynamic, rapidly growing business environment. The intern will work closely with the General Counsel, gaining exposure to a wide range of legal matters, including contract review and negotiation, HR-related issues, and regulatory compliance.
LOCATION AND HOURS
- Onsite, Fort Wayne, Indiana
- Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Shadow the General Counsel in day-to-day legal operations.
- Assist with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
- Support HR-related legal matters, including policy review and compliance.
- Research and analyze regulatory requirements impacting the business.
- Prepare summaries, reports, and documentation for internal stakeholders.
- Participate in meetings and provide administrative support as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
MUST HAVE
- Current law student (1L or 2L preferred).
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
