This is a full-time role based in Melbourne or Sydney and is ideal for self-directed, passionate individuals who thrive in dynamic, entrepreneurial environments and want to accelerate their career through cross-functional collaboration and leadership development.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for grid connection in Australia, managing relationships and communication with customers, consultants, network service providers, operators, and internal teams.

  • Coordinate timely submission of interconnection studies and documentation to Transmission Network Service Providers (TNSPs) and market operators.

  • Collect, maintain and verify Product technical data essential for grid connection designs, approvals, and seamless BESS implementations.

  • Actively manage records for interconnection agreements, policies, permits and compliance materials, and adapt to changing requirements.

  • Develop and maintain project tracking systems and generate status updates on grid connection efforts to drive timely results.

  • Facilitate coordination between Tesla policy and technical engineering teams on National Electricity Rules (NER) developments and reforms.

  • Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Energy Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years in project coordination or process administration, with proven success in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly explaining technical concepts and requesting actions from diverse audiences.
  • Project planning skills: Scheduling, budgeting, milestone tracking, and delivering outcomes in complex settings.
  • Ability to learn quickly, collaborate, and work independently.
  • Understanding of the energy sector, National Electricity Market (NEM), grid connection processes, and renewables (preferred but not required)
