Project Engineer will handle techno commercial proposals for field instrumentation.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
1. Develop Techno-commercial proposals for field instrumentation and manage complete execution of Project Orders for Rosemount business.
2. Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support for Rosemount products
3. Select suitable instruments based on the RFQ and detail the specifications
4. Design instrumentation solutions based on the applications
5. Provide Support to Emerson Sales Offices for efficient and effective Project Execution.
6. Prepare post order documentation. The position will be responsible for cleaning the documents, resolving the customer comments and timely submission.
7. Attend internal project execution meetings to understand customer requirements and act accordingly.
8. Procuring buyouts and co-ordination with the vendors
9. Responsibility of meeting the project schedule
10. Maintain log of key metrics for projects and proposals
For This Role, You Will Need:
1. 2- 9 years in core instrumentation with Process Industry, EPC Companies or OEM companies.
2. Clear understanding of basic working principles of Pressure, Temperature, DP Flow and Level meters, Radar Type Level meters, Flame and Gas monitoring Systems
3. Familiarity with installation and calibration of instruments
4. Familiarity with the Instrument Data Sheets and Specifications, International Standards for Hazardous, Flammable Areas, Ingress Protection Codes.
5. Selection of suitable instrument types and models based on the customer specifications
6. Ability to handle MS Office applications like Word, Excel and PowerPoint with ease. Familiarity with MS Projects will be an added advantage.
7. Candidates with knowledge of documentation related to the post order activities will be preferred.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
BE /B.Tech in InstrumentationEngineering from a reputed institute. Candidates with Post Graduation (ME, M Tech) in Instrumentation Engineering may also apply.
