In this role you will manage the planning process, translating strategies into commercially viable solutions that align with client needs. This is a unique opportunity to deepen your craft in an environment that bridges the gap between raw audience insights and commercially powerful storytelling.
This role offers the chance to collaborate closely with sales, strategy, insights, industry leads, editorial, product and publishing teams to bring integrated ideas to life, while also gaining exposure in client meetings and presentations alongside sales. You’ll build strong planning foundations and be part of News Australia’s growth team, a key priority for the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Translate high-level strategies into actionable, innovative plans and "commercially sound" proposals that solve real client business challenges.
Identify investment opportunities within priority industries and deliver high-impact integrated solutions that hit revenue targets.
Act as the functional link between internal stakeholders (Research, Insights, Product) and Sales to ensure every pitch is insight-led and cohesive.
Stay ahead of the curve on market dynamics and competitor activity to refine our ongoing solution approaches.
Gain direct exposure by participating in client discovery phases and high-profile presentations alongside our Sales leads.
Who are you?
You have a background in media, marketing, publishing or agency with a strong understanding of the planning lifecycle.
You have experience developing solutions across digital, print, audio, and content formats.
You excel at building trusted relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to meet shared objectives.
