Industrial Risk Manager
Main Missions : Design and deploy the Group’s global risk management framework (threats and opportunities) across mining sites. Identify, assess, and prioritize risks to support strategic and operational decision-making. Develop and implement prevention and mitigation plans to protect assets and ensure business continuity. Ensure a controlled, safe, and compliant working environment in line with Group standards. Contribute to safeguarding the company’s reputation and financial performance. Key Responsibilities : Risk Identification and Assessment : Conduct in-depth risk analyses of industrial processes, equipment, and site activities, covering operational (safety, environment, business continuity), compliance, and strategic risks. Risk Control Strategy Development : Design and propose action plans to eliminate, mitigate, or transfer identified risks. Develop and maintain crisis management and business continuity plans (BCP). Industrial Risk Inspections : Perform on-site risk inspections to verify the effectiveness of existing risk control measures. Monitoring and Reporting : Track the implementation of action plans, define and monitor key risk indicators (KRIs), and produce regular reports for management and stakeholders. Awareness and Training : Promote a strong risk culture by training and raising awareness among site representatives on best practices. General Skills : Risk Management Frameworks : Strong knowledge of ISO 31000 and COSO-ERM standards. Risk Mapping Expertise : Proficiency in risk mapping and risk analysis methodologies. Regulatory Monitoring : Ability to track and interpret evolving regulations specific to the mining industry. Analytical Skills : Strong capability to analyze data, quantify risks, and evaluate their financial impact. Communication and Influence : Excellent ability to communicate, persuade, and present complex recommendations at all organizational levels, from management to operations. Critical Thinking and Synthesis : Capacity to analyze complex situations and extract key insights. Interpersonal Skills : Ability to build trust and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders. Education Experience : Holds an Engineering degree (generalist or specialized), ideally complemented by a Master’s degree in Risk Management, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position. Position based in Casablanca.
