Job Overview: Industrial Mechanical Millwright
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Millwright to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for supporting the installation and maintenance of mechanical systems on water and wastewater treatment construction projects. Your expertise will ensure smooth operations, safety, and efficiency across our projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your mechanical knowledge and technical skills make a real impact on multiple communities.
Responsibilites
- Install, align, and maintain pumps, motors, gearboxes, and other mechanical equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Perform precision alignment using laser and dial indicator tools.
- Assist with rigging and placement of heavy equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems on job sites.
- Coordinate with field teams including carpenters, operators, electricians and pipefitters.
- Follow all safety policies and project requirements.
- Maintain tools and ensure clean, organized work areas.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3+ years of millwright or industrial mechanical experience.
- Work on water and wastewater treatment facilities.
- Experience working with rotating equipment and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Knowledge of rigging and equipment setting.
- OSHA 10 certification required.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding conditions.
- Willingness to travel to job sites throughout Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire.

Pay: $55.00 - $75.00 per hour
