Industrial Engineer Intern

The Industrial Engineer Intern will assist the Operations Project Leads on development of equipment documentation. Responsibilities: Assist Industrial Engineering team in assembly and test equipment development Assist IE team on planning of new or modified production processes including tasks around: Design or improvement of equipment and machines to ensure efficiency and reliability. Data analysis to optimize work processes with respect to impacts from labor and manufacturing methods related to its impact on cycle time and capital Supports Industrial team on maintaining standard Marquardt Industrialization documentation and project status summary dashboard reports. Work with complex reports to analyze manufacturing costs to establish baseline information for new launches Support manufacturing and assembly of equipment Required Qualifications: Working towards a Associates in Engineering Technology or Bachelors in Industrial Engineering or other applicable major Minimum of 3.0 GPA Highly motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision People centric focus with ability to collaborate with all teammates across the organization Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Technical aptitude in major of study Strong communication and presentation skills. Basic computer skills, including the use of standard Microsoft Office Suite Ability to analyze data using Microsoft Excel.
