Position Overview
We are seeking a technically proficient and leadership-oriented Manager of IT Cloud Engineering for our Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) platform. This role combines hands-on cloud engineering with team leadership and strategic oversight. You will guide the technical direction of IDP initiatives, mentor engineers, and ensure delivery of scalable, production-grade solutions that support automated document workflows and advanced data extraction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead engineering and delivery of cloud-native IDP solutions using AWS and third-party platforms.
Manage a team of engineers and collaborate with architects, data scientists, and business stakeholders to align IDP capabilities with enterprise goals.
Oversee development and optimization of automated workflows for document ingestion, classification, extraction, and validation.
Drive performance tuning, cost optimization, and infrastructure resilience across the IDP platform.
Implement monitoring, alerting, and fault-tolerant mechanisms to ensure platform reliability.
Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
7+ years of experience in cloud engineering with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.
Strong knowledge of AWS services (Lambda, S3, Step Functions, ECS, IAM).
Programming experience in .NET and Python for backend services.
Familiarity with OCR/NLP technologies and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
Nice to Have
AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, SysOps).
Experience with GenAI-powered IDP platforms.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Familiarity with Power Automate, Tableau, and relational databases (SQL Server/PostgreSQL).
Experience with Agile methodologies and Rally.
