Overview Job Summary (Primary function) Incyte Biosciences Japan GK (INCYJP) presently an expanding development stage organization, positioned to move to commercialization stage upon successful completion of clinical development projects in hematology/oncology and potentially even non-oncology indications. Key External Expert Liaison (KEE-L) has role and responsibility to build and maintain relationships with key external experts (KEEs) to align brand objectives with HCPs’ needs in Japanese market. This position acts as a strategic bridge between the company and KEEs, facilitating communication, gathering insights, and supporting commercial strategies. KEE-L is field-based and reports to Director, Marketing. Essential Functions of the Job (Key responsibilities) · Build & maintain relationships with KEEs and relevant stakeholders at local/regional and national levels · Collaborate with marketing and sales colleagues to ensure KEE needs are addressed in a timely and comprehensive manner · Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and medical affairs, to ensure seamless communication and coordinated efforts, creating and executing short-term and long-term KEE engagement plans · Support speaker events, including selection of speakers, discussion with speakers and reviewing current speaker programs ensuring coherent messaging and compliant execution · Gather insights from KEEs and share them with cross-functional team to help develop brand strategies and tactics · Plan and implement regional peer-to-peer strategy in alignment with national marketing plan. · Identify and develop emerging KEEs, expanding the network of influential healthcare professionals · Organize interactions between KEEs and Incyte management at all national and global congresses · Support development of commercial content by providing KEE insight and perspective Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency) · Bachelor’s degree or higher degree · Experience in Hematology/Oncology field is required · 10+ years of experience in customer-facing position · A strong understanding of the relevant therapeutic area and disease state is crucial. · Experience in KEE/KOL/TL management is required · Marketing/Brand management experience is a big plus · Excellent communication skill with both internal and external stakeholders · Strategic thinkers, able to identify opportunities for collaboration and align them with company goals. · Strong leadership skills demonstrated in cross-functional setting · Have a good understanding of industry regulations and compliance guidelines · Must have fluency in Japanese language, business-level English proficiency preferred Disclaimer: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employees assigned to this job.
