The Tribe Voice & Messaging is responsible for the design, development, planning, validation and operation of all voice and messaging platforms in DT Technik's fixed and mobile network over their entire lifecycle. We provide innovative, reliable state-of-the-art services to our cellular- and landline-based customers.
The scope of a current program is to bring voice & messaging applications into the cloud. We’ll change the today’s model of separated fixed and mobile systems and merge them. That’s why we want you on our team.
Tasks
You will support project teams in the integration and validation of  software of voice services. Additionally you will support in development, quality assurance and planning as well as implementation of product releases.
You will design further automations of services, processes and/or operating models, you will carry out performance analyses and tunings as well as error analysis and fixes.
You will support the automation of deployments in all environments.
You will provide a project-specific infrastructure and tool suite for integration and delivery, and administer these.

Must have skills
You are characterized by the following knowledge and skills:
- Expert knowledge in agile development methods (like Kanban, Scrum, etc.).
- In-depth knowledge of Object Oriented Programming (C/C++).
- In-depth knowledge of DevOps technologies and tools (e.g. Gitlab, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Flux, Test Automation using Python/ behave or Ruby/Cucumber, Zabbix).
- IMS knowledge with relevant communication protocols (e.g. SIP and RTP) and Telecommunications Industry experience-.
Nice to have skills
- In-depth knowledge of Object Oriented Programming (Java, Python, Ruby).
- Understanding German would be helpful (optional).
- Detailed knowledge of the market, technology and competitive environment in the information technology and telecommunications industry, including digital transformation.
- Several years of experience in IT project management.
Tools and Platforms
GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Flux, Test Automation using Python/ behave or Ruby/Cucumber, Zabbix, C/C++, Java.
Focus is developing automation solution for load and perfomanace test and in the future for other functions
in all sysstem squads of our tribe. You are able to coordinate tasks for a small team of developers and ensure the team's delivery.
