IMMEDIATE: 25-26 Operations Manager
Role Overview:
The Operations Manager works in a single KIPP Philly school and provides critical support for the school’s teachers, leaders, students, and families. The Operations Manager is part of a school’s Operations Team, which as a collective is responsible for creating and ensuring organization, structure, and accountability within the school’s systems and processes; they keep the school running smoothly while enabling our teachers and school leaders to focus on student growth and achievement. An Operations Manager has passion for logistics, thrives on creative problem-solving and is eager to provide the behind-the-scenes support essential to our schools’ success. The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring smooth daily operation of the school office. The hours of this position are 7:20 A.M.- 4:30 P.M., Mondays through Fridays and Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (for only a handful of Saturdays across the year). This is a 12-month position. The Operations Manager reports directly to the school’s Director of Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement effective office systems to ensure maximum efficiency
Ensure that all attendance and student information is accurately recorded in PowerSchool; support with attendance intervention plans, including follow up with parents/guardians
Assist with recruitment of new students; complete enrollment and registration for students to ensure school meets enrollment goal and all required paperwork is on file; maintain school district enrollment system (Infinite Campus)
Coordinate with the school district and bus company to manage student bus routes and problem solve any transportation issues
Perform administrative duties including filing, faxing, copying, documenting office procedures, ordering and maintaining teacher/student supplies (including student uniforms) while staying in budget
Coordinate school tours for parents, guests and other visitors; assist with all special events.
Participate in school planning and professional development in July and August
Supervise students as needed during meals, dismissal, and school-wide meetings
Cover extra responsibilities when other operations team members are absent.
Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians.
Set clear short-term and long-term goals to drive daily, weekly, and monthly priorities
Provide additional administrative assistance and professional support as needed per the Director of Operations

Administrative experience required
Experience in an education setting preferred
Bachelor’s degree required.

Compensation:
Starting salary range for this position is $60,000-$75,000 commensurate with experience.
