How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Bridge the gap between academic theory and clinical practice by preparing for and assisting in a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures under the direct mentorship of a registered technologist.

• Support patient safety and clinical flow by expertly preparing contrast media and medications as directed, ensuring every study is ready for precise execution.

• Facilitate seamless patient transitions by safely transporting and positioning individuals for their scans, ensuring their comfort and dignity throughout their time in the department.

• Champion a safe and reliable care environment by maintaining pristine procedure rooms and storage areas, ensuring our department is always ready for the next patient.

• Master essential clinical workflows by accurately completing both paper and computer documentation, gaining the technical foundation needed for your future career as a technologist.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• High school diploma equivalency OR Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline

Must be a student in a radiology program.
