IAM Engineer I - Privileged Access Management (PAM)

As an IAM Engineer I for our Identity and Access Engineering team, you will report to the lead IAM Engineer for Privileged Access Management (PAM). In this role you will be a member of a technical engineering team which partners with our product and experience design teams to build secure privileged access experiences that protect critical information and resources. Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the efforts of the PAM product and engineering team on defining and executing the product roadmap for identity and access products aligned with the company’s strategy and goals.
  • Participate in the technical efforts on projects that will architect, design, develop, configure and implement PAM solutions, services and products and potentially other products as required to meet security requirements.
  • Support day to day operations for PAM platforms.
  • Help eliminate technical debt within the existing identity and access platform as part of a continuous modernization and optimization approach.
  • Ensure successful transition of project deliverables to operations teams.
  • Participate in efforts to drive continuous improvement in delivery speed, quality, value, and applied innovation.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year professional experience as a PAM Engineer or other cybersecurity experience.
  • 2+ years Information Technology experience.
  • Knowledge of PAM related concepts, protocols, and technologies, including but not limited to least privilege, networking, cloud infrastructure, system administration, identity.
  • Technical experience with PAM technologies (e.g. BeyondTrust)
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices, including risk management, access controls, and secure coding principles.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess business requirements and translate them into practical PAM solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at various organizational levels.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM) concepts, protocols, and technologies, including but not limited to identity provisioning, authentication, authorization, RBAC, SSO, and federation.
  • Relevant certifications such as vendor-specific PAM or cybersecurity, cloud certification are a bonus.
