Intern Order Automation & Data Quality (Esker)
Our intern program is tailored to individuals who are currently enrolled full-time students at an accredited university. Working hours can be a minimum of 26 hours up to 40 hours per week- dependent on the intern’s availability. The goal of the Huntsman Intern Program is to provide a structured program that will equip interns with the skills and experience to help prepare for a successful career.
Candidates must be willing to work on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at our office located in AFZ, Heredia. Additional office days may be required as needed or during corporate visits.
Position Summary
The Intern – Order Automation & Data Quality will support the AMER rollout of Esker, focusing on improving automation accuracy and accelerating system stabilization.
This role is critical during the initial implementation phase, where Esker’s machine learning model requires structured input, validation, and continuous correction to achieve targeted no-touch order processing rates.
The intern will execute transactional and analytical tasks that directly contribute to system learning, while reducing operational strain on Customer Service teams.
As the Order Automation Intern, you will:
- Review, validate, and correct orders processed through Esker
- Ensure high levels of data accuracy and completeness
- Provide structured feedback to support machine learning model training
- Execute data cleansing and validation activities
- Support monitoring of automation performance metrics (e.g., no-touch rate, error trends)
- Collaborate with Customer Service and project stakeholders to ensure process continuity
- Follow defined SOPs and contribute to process standardization

Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing the final year of university studies in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Analytical mindset with ability to identify patterns and errors
- Basic to intermediate Excel skills
- Ability to follow structured processes and work independently
- Minimum of B2+ English Level
