Hunter Douglas Europe is the European market leader in innovative, made-to-measure window covering solutions, known through premium brands such as Luxaflex®. Within our Product Team, we develop high-quality products that combine engineering, design, and manufacturability, from concept through production.
We are looking for a Junior Product Development Engineer who wants to grow in a hands-on product development role within an international environment.
About The Role -
- Support the development of new products and components from concept to industrialisation
- Create and maintain 3D CAD models and production drawings
- Assist with technical calculations, testing, and product validation
- Support production processes and production ramp-ups
- Drive improvements in functionality, quality, and manufacturability
- Work closely with an international team of engineers, including colleagues in Germany and other Hunter Douglas companies
- Collaborate with the documentation team to deliver accurate drawings for assembly and installation manuals
- Cooperate with product management, production, purchasing, and marketing teams
About You -
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design
- 0–3 years of experience (graduates welcome)
- Interest in product development and manufacturing
- Experience with 3D CAD (Creo is a plus)
- Proactive mindset, eye for detail, and strong team spirit
- Good command of English; Dutch and/or German is a plus
