Remote job Remote February 25, 2026

Are you a HR professional in the Dublin hotel market, who loves being hands-on and playing a key role in the opening of our first apartment-hotel in Dublin? Then this is the opportunity for you!

Join Us in Opening The July Dublin!

The July is looking for a HR Manager (For a team of 40 people) for the pre-opening and day-to-day HR operations for our newest addition, as we’re expanding and bringing The July to the heart of Dublin.

On iconic Capel Street, our newest 105 apartment-hotel and restaurant is designed to become a welcoming place for travellers, neighbours and the community around us. Thoughtfully developed, sustainably built, and shaped by local design, The July Dublin will feel both distinctly Irish and unmistakably The July.

The July is where great stories begin…

The July is a premium hospitality brand that’s bringing the human touch to the way people travel. We are a group of apartment-hotels driven by delivering the best experience the world has ever seen, for guests staying one night or one year.

From Amsterdam to the world! Together with our shareholder Aware Super, we are implementing our strategy of international growth as owner-operator. Our teams have the ambitious goal to develop multiple new apartment-hotels across prime European cities like Dublin, Paris, Lisbon and Barcelona. Each location has the local stories and spirit interwoven throughout the apartment-hotel’s distinctive design.

We are an organisation that puts people first, always striving to improve and genuinely caring for each other and our guests. Every day, we aim to make a positive impact. We foster an environment where you can be yourself, embrace unique differences, and celebrate successes together.

The job

As our HR Manager, you will take a hands-on approach to HR operations at our newest hotel in Dublin, while acting as a trusted partner to the hotel management team. You will foster a positive and engaging work environment where every team member feels valued, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.

You will manage the pre-opening HR processes, including talent acquisition, recruitment, onboarding, and training & development, ensuring the hotel attracts and retains top talent. In your advisory role, you will support managers in making informed decisions, guide them through employee relations matters, and handle sensitive conversations with staff when needed.

On a day-to-day basis, you will oversee HR activities such as managing absence cases, employee relations, wellbeing initiatives, training and development, performance management, payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee record keeping, all while ensuring compliance with Irish employment law and internal policies.

You will report to our HR Director, who is based in the HQ in Amsterdam. In addition, you will regularly discuss the daily HR operations with the General Manager.

If you love being hands-on, thrive in a dynamic environment, and are passionate about people and making a positive impact, we want you on our team! Join The July and enjoy the journey with us!
