What You’ll Do:

The Human Resources Director plans, directs, and implements policies for all areas of the human resources function including staffing, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, safety and compliance. This individual will administer and innovate human resources programs and policies, support company goals, and positively engage the workforce. Additionally, the Director will advise leadership on all HR-related issues with broad and current subject matter knowledge that includes expertise in federal and state employment laws.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to execute the company’s strategic vision and serve as a trusted advisor on all human resources matters

  • Partner closely with divisional and functional leaders to improve, scale, and innovate people practices across multiple lines of business

  • Lead all aspects of human resources operations, including payroll, benefits, compensation, compliance, employee relations, total rewards and recognition, and HR administration

  • Foster and enhance company culture and values through HR‑led and cross‑functional initiatives focused on engagement and employee experience

  • Provide data‑driven insights, workforce analytics, and reporting to support leadership decision‑making and identify opportunities for improvement

  • Innovate HR processes and procedures through the use of HR technology, AI resources, and data tools to optimize efficiency and scalability

  • Develop, manage, and maintain the Human Resources budget and establish departmental KPIs aligned with organizational objectives

  • Select, manage, and supervise external HR vendors, consultants, and benefits partners

  • Prepare and present HR updates, insights, and recommendations during leadership meetings, company meetings, and training sessions

  • Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and reporting requirements while protecting the interests of both employees and the organization

What We’re Looking For:

Must Have’s:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field

  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience

  • 5+ years of people management experience

  • Strong background in compliance, payroll, benefits, and employee relations

  • Experience partnering closely with executive and senior leadership

  • Ability to operate with autonomy while collaborating across functions

  • Data‑driven mindset with experience leveraging HR metrics and insights

  • Strong communication, judgment, and decision‑making skills

Nice-to-Have’s:

  • HR certification such as SHRM‑CP or SHRM‑SCP

  • Experience leading an HRIS implementation or major system upgrade

  • Exposure to multi‑line‑of‑business or decentralized organizations

  • Experience supporting growth through acquisitions

  • Familiarity with AI tools or process automation within HR
