About the Role
The HR Business Partner is responsible for providing strategic and operational HR partnership to assigned departments, guiding stakeholders and ensuring the effective delivery of people initiatives. This role leads the coordination of HR services and programs, facilitating key processes across the employee lifecycle and co-leading projects to enhance organizational effectiveness and employee experience
Main Responsibilities
- Act as HRBP for assigned departments, providing advisory on HR matters and coordinating with COEs to resolve complex issues and ensure consistent application of policies.
- Coordinate workforce planning activities, analyzing trends, supporting resource allocation, and partnering with Talent Acquisition to ensure hiring needs.
- Support with organizational design and change initiatives, ensuring alignment of structures and roles with business priorities and smooth implementation.
- Facilitate performance management processes, coaching managers on goal setting, feedback, and talent calibration, ensuring fairness and compliance with guidelines.
- Facilitate talent management and succession planning discussions, maintaining visibility of critical roles, and supporting development actions for high-potential employees.
- Co-lead employee engagement initiatives within assigned business areas, analyzing feedback and partnering with stakeholders to implement targeted actions that improve morale and retention.
- Ensure governance and compliance across assigned departments, proactively identifying risks, maintaining accurate documentation, and recommending corrective actions.
- Co-lead HR projects and continuous improvement efforts, leveraging data insights to enhance HR processes, efficiency, and employee experience.
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, regulatory requirements, company policies, and quality frameworks applicable to the role and assigned projects.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by Managers.
1. Educational background
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional HR certifications (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) are an advantage.
2. Experience
- 8+ years of HR experience in MNC environments, including 3+ years in an HR Business Partner role.
- Experience in leading HR initiatives or projects is an advantage.
3. Professional Competence
- Strong HR fundamentals, employee relations, and employment law knowledge.
- Business acumen with ability to translate business needs into people solutions.
- Data literacy and HR analytics for evidence-based decisions.
- Stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Change management and transformation capability.
- Talent management, succession planning, and performance development expertise.
- Employee engagement and culture advocacy.
- HR governance, policy formulation, and process improvement mindset.
- Digital HR savvy and HR technology proficiency.
- Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in English and MS Office.
