We are looking for 1-2 people who want weekend hours to make some extra $$$ assisting with back of house event operations and cleaning. Shifts are most Friday & Saturday nights from 6:00 PM-1:00 AM. 

Job Duties

  • Follow direction from the Venue Managers to ensure that our facilities are maintained and cleaned, allowing us to exceed our client’s expectations.

  • Wash, dry, polish, sort, and put away dishes.

  • Clean banquet rooms, hallways, restrooms, kitchens, dressing rooms, and other work areas according to appropriate checklists.

  • Tidy and clean the warehouse and storage areas.

  • Clean floors in the kitchen, warehouse, and banquet spaces.

  • Discard of all trash. 

  • Set-up and break down event equipment according to the designated floor plan. This includes moving and placing tables, chairs, linens and other equipment. There is some moving of equipment up and down stairs. 

  • Complete laundry tasks, including washing, drying, and folding towels and linens.

  • Periodically complete food preparation.

  • Move equipment between venues.

Typical Schedule

These shifts are primarily Friday & Saturday nights from 6:00 PM-1:00 AM. There is some flexibility on the start time, although there may be times the shift goes later than 1:00 AM. There is some seasonality to this position, with our high season being April-June and September-December. On average, you can expect to work 4-8 shifts a month. 

Expectations

  • Be on time for work each day as scheduled.

  • Work independently to complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner. 

  • Have a smart phone with phone, text and data plan with consistent access to email communication. 

  • Provide exceptional customer service to our visiting clients and guests. 

  • Must be able to think critically and problem solve, sometimes in very high stress situations. 

  • Should be flexible and be able to adapt tasks as priorities change. 

Perks

  • Hourly pay of $17-$18 an hour
