Full-Time Housekeeper (Animal-Loving, Experienced & Reliable)

Location: Westport, Connecticut

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Compensation: 80,000-85,000 + Generous Holiday Bonus

A private household is seeking a mature, discreet, and highly reliable full-time housekeeper to maintain a large residence (15,000 sq. ft. on 6.2 acres). The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys caring for a well-kept home, loves animals (especially cats and dogs), and is seeking a long-term position with a kind and respectful employer.

This is a low-drama, quiet home environment best suited for someone who is detail-oriented, self-directed, honest, and appreciates structure and routine. You should be comfortable working independently in a large home where the principal is often busy or working on the property.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily general housekeeping: tidying, laundry, ironing, organization
Maintain household cleanliness and presentation to a high standard
Care for furnishings, surfaces, and household items with attention to detail
Trash removal, light errands as needed
Feeding and caring for household cats, including occasional weekend visits when the principal is away
Notifying the employer of maintenance issues or supply needs
