Dining Room Hosts provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests entering the restaurant. Hosts will facilitate Waithelp staff needs when it comes to welcoming guests, seating them, bussing tables, and ensuring restaurant areas are clean, sanitized, and reset throughout the day. Provide reliability, dependability, and a positive attitude in a high-energy environment. Live a summer of adventure and memories, both creating your own and for others.

RESPONSIBILITIES
**Employee Housing is not available.**
- Contribute effectively to a positive guest experience while maintaining a professional attitude and appearance.
- Works with the Dining Room Supervisor to ensure a smooth flow of guests to the restaurant.
- Seat guests according to proper server rotation guidelines.
- Maintain seating chart with accuracy and frequency.
- Keeping tables clean, sanitized, and ready for new guests.
- Move dirty dishes and glasses to proper locations throughout the restaurant.
- Help maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
- Communicate with front-of-house staff what tables are clean or what might be needed.
REQUIREMENTS
- BARS Training/Certification is an asset.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs./23 kg.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
- Ability to organize and prioritize work, and maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals.
- Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures, and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards.
- Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
