About the position
As a Project Manager in our Project Management Office (PMO) team within the Powder Metallurgy Division (PMT), you will lead and execute a variety of development projects. These range from early-stage concepts to full implementations, covering both product and process development.
You will be responsible for keeping projects on track, managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
The position is a permanent position located in Höganäs, Sweden.
Your main responsibilities
Lead and manage high-impact projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, scope and within approved cost.
Motivate and guide cross-functional teams, including development, production, and sales for seamless collaboration.
Ensure projects meet our Quality, Delivery, Cost, Safety, and Sustainability targets.
Oversee risk assessments, budget tracking, and cost management.
Report regularly on project milestones and drive continuous process improvement.
As part of the PMO, you will contribute to the improvement on our way of working with project management.
Experience and Competencies
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, industrial management, or equivalent experience
+7 years of experience from project management, leading cross-functional project teams, ideally in a global setting.
Strong understanding of project management principles with a proven track record delivering projects on time and within budget.
Project management certification is a plus (PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2, or similar)
Strong background from both product and process development (preferably steel, mining, energy, chemicals or automotive)
Excellent decision-making skills and thrive in fast-paced environments.
Skilled in resource planning, managing dependencies, and aligning cross-functional teams in international organizations
Good communicator, fluent in English, and able to engage effectively at all levels of the organization.
Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities efficiently.
