About the Position
ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES

- While working for Höganäs you should always follow pertient laws. You are also responsible for following internal directives and rules concerning occupational health, safety and environment so that required permits are not put at jeopardy.
- Develop and execute the China Business Development (BD) strategy in full alignment with global Strategy, focusing on eMotor applications.
- Responsibility for all BD activities in China and SPA.
- Build structured engagement with OEMs, Tier 1s, and partners.
- Support and drive Asia forecast and business plan (> 3 years) and manage the China EMM BD related cost center.
- Evaluate and prioritize customer opportunities, driving early engagement, technical discussions, and business cases.
- Monitor customer projects and provide regular reporting on progress, risks, and opportunities to global EMM functions.
- Act as coordinator between local customers and EMM technical resources (ATEC China, EMM P&T Sweden, Alvier Mechatronics) to ensure efficient project support.
- Gather and share business intelligence (market trends, customer needs, competitor activities) to support global EMM strategy.
- Represent Höganäs and EMM in relevant industry networks, events, and associations across China and SPA.

SPECIALISED OR TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Describe qualifications/training and experience required for the job.
- Leadership skills: Team management and internal coordination with key stakeholders.
- Financial and strategic planning competence.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate customer opportunities and align with global strategy.
- Proven B2B Business Development experience with OEMs and Tier 1s, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Solid communication and reporting skills, fluent in English.
- Technical and commercial knowledge of magnetic applications.
- Ability to work across cultures and drive collaboration with global functions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT
