HMS GTP Clinical Fellow

Responsibilities
- Patient Care - Provide compassionate, effective, and appropriate clinical care in the area of Cancer Genetics to patients and families that are affected or at risk for a hereditary cancer condition.
- Medical Knowledge - Learn, evaluate, and use current medical information and scientific evidence for patient care.
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills - Interact with patients and other providers in professional, clear, and effective language while demonstrating caring and respectful behaviors.
- Practice-Based Learning - Demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed for self-assessment, and work to improve one’s practice of medicine.
- Professionalism - Demonstrate commitment to carrying out professional responsibilities, adherence to ethical principles, and sensitivity to diversity.
- System-Based Practice - Understand how to practice quality health care and advocate for patients within the context of the health care system.
Qualifications
- Admittance into a Harvard Medical School Gastroenterology, Medical Genetics, or Molecular Pathology Medical Fellowship Program.
- MD/DO Degree
