Why You’ll Love Working Here
Step into a full, partner-level private practice—without the financial risk or pressure of ownership. This is a rare opportunity to enter an established, high-performing practice with immediate patient flow and a clearly defined transition. You’ll inherit a full patient schedule from a retiring partner through a structured handoff, stepping into a role that has consistently generated approximately $900,000 annually in a $2.8 million, two-doctor practice. This is not a build-from-scratch position—you’re entering a fully built system with strong hygiene support, consistent demand, and an established schedule.
Boss Dental is a long-standing, highly respected private practice that has served the Corpus Christi community for over 40 years. Led by Dr. Jason Packard in partnership with Dr. Boss, the practice is built on a simple yet powerful philosophy: do what’s right for patients, every time. There is no pressure and no corporate influence—just honest, conservative dentistry rooted in integrity and long-term trust. Quality work and sound judgment are valued far more than volume.
You won’t be asked to generate your own patient base or compete internally for production. Instead, you can focus on dentistry, build genuine relationships with patients, and operate at a high level from day one. The team around you—assistants, hygienists, and front office staff—is highly competent, autonomous, and aligned with the practice’s values. Systems are dialed in, patient flow is consistent, and new patients come almost entirely from word-of-mouth referrals. The result is a predictable, efficient schedule that allows you to focus on patient care without chaos or micromanagement.
Mentorship here is real and intentional. Dr. Packard is hands-on when it matters and hands-off when it isn’t essential. He’s deeply invested in helping the right associate grow clinically—especially in treatment planning, case decision-making, and expanding skills over time. The mentorship style mirrors how he was trained himself: collaborative case discussions, thoughtful feedback, and autonomy paired with support. The practice is also highly technology-forward, with CBCT, scanners, CAD/CAM, 3D printing, lasers, and AI-supported clinical notes to support efficiency and quality.
This is a stable, profitable practice with overhead under 50%, no debt-driven pressure, and a clear long-term vision. Producing $2.8 million annually as a two-doctor office, it operates from a position of genuine strength. For the right dentist who is interested in becoming a future partner, there is a genuine path toward ownership as the practice builds its long-term future—without rushed promises or artificial timelines. This creates a unique opportunity to experience what it’s like to operate at a high level in private practice while, over time, determining whether a longer-term role or partnership is the right fit for you. This opportunity is an excellent fit for a dentist who values ethical, conservative care, takes pride in doing things right, and wants to build trust with patients over time. It is not a fit for dentists who prefer aggressive treatment planning, high-pressure production environments, or practices where selling dentistry is the norm.
Located in Corpus Christi, you’ll enjoy a coastal lifestyle that’s hard to find in most parts of Texas. The area offers easy access to the beach, year-round warm weather, and plenty of outdoor activities, including fishing, boating, and water sports. The cost of living is significantly lower than in most major metro areas, making home ownership and financial freedom far more attainable. Commutes are short, traffic is minimal, and life moves at a more sustainable pace. It’s a great fit for someone who wants space to breathe, time outside of work, and a community-oriented lifestyle without sacrificing professional opportunity.
What We Value
• Integrity – We believe dentistry should never be sold. Patients are educated on their options, the pros and cons, and the long-term implications so they can make informed decisions without pressure. Trust is earned over time, and we protect it fiercely.
• Doing Things Right – Quality comes first, always. We value dentistry done correctly the first time, with thoughtful planning, sound judgment, and attention to detail. Shortcuts, rushed work, and frequent re-dos are not part of our standard.
• Ownership & Initiative – Our team members take full responsibility for their work, their patients, and their outcomes. Associates are trusted with autonomy and expected to manage their schedules and cases with pride. This is a practice for self-directed professionals, not people who need micromanagement.
• Team Respect – We operate as a true team, where assistants, hygienists, and doctors work collaboratively and respectfully. Ego, hierarchy battles, and drama don’t last here. Clear communication and mutual respect are non-negotiable.
• Calm, Professional Leadership – We value steady, thoughtful decision-making over reactive behavior. Challenges are handled with composure and logic, not emotion. A calm presence helps protect the culture, the team, and the patient experience.

Why This Job Stands Out
• Immediate Patient Flow – You’ll step into a full patient load inherited from a retiring partner who practiced for 40 years and produced around $900,000 annually—rather than building from scratch. This is a well-established, two-doctor practice producing $2.8 million annually. Your schedule will be meaningful and clinically engaging from day one, allowing you to focus on dentistry instead of marketing yourself internally.
• True Clinical Autonomy – You are trusted to practice within your competencies without constant oversight. There is no restriction on procedures you’re capable of performing. Growth is encouraged, not limited.
• Mentorship That Respects You – Support is available without micromanagement. Case discussions are thoughtful and collaborative, not ego-driven. You’ll be guided without being controlled.
• Ethical, Stable Practice – With no overselling, no corporate pressure, and overhead under 50%, this practice operates from a position of strength. Decisions are made thoughtfully, not reactively. Stability here is real.
• Long-Term Opportunity – This role is designed for someone who wants more than a short stop—ideally, a candidate interested in becoming a future partner. The practice offers a clear path toward ownership as it builds its long-term future, navigating a planned partnership transition with intention and care. For the right person, there is a future here.
