HEAD OF QUALITY PLANT

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Quality – Plant to lead the Quality organization within our automotive production facility. This key leadership role ensures the implementation of HELLA business process management, oversees all quality functions, and secures compliance with internal standards, customer expectations, and legal requirements. The successful candidate will coordinate a multidisciplinary team covering Supplier Quality, Quality Systems, Quality Laboratory, and Quality Production, driving a culture of continuous improvement and zero defects. As the Head of Quality Plant, you will: - Lead and develop the plant Quality organization to achieve business objectives and ensure compliance with HELLA Quality Management standards. - Oversee audits, customer-specific quality requirements, and continuous improvement plans (quality KPIs, budgeting, quality cost reduction). - Monitor production quality and drive “Zero Defects” processes, including stopping deliveries or production when needed. - Manage supplier quality, sampling, and laboratory activities. - Report on quality KPIs and trends to plant management. - Lead quality-related escalations and secure stable product launches (Time-to-Market). - Ensure compliance with legal COP requirements and internal HELLA standards. - Support employees in function-related tasks and manage hiring, performance evaluation, and qualification demands. - Develop team competencies, foster a culture of trust, and drive performance toward department goals.
