Head of Product Team Commercial Air Conditioning Europe
In your role as Head of Product Team Commercial Air Conditioning Europe you hold P&L responsibility for the light commercial Air Conditioning business in the region Europe within the Product Line Air Conditioning and Well-Being.
This includes:
- Profit & Loss responsibility for PAC units and VRF systems in the region (revenue, gross margin)
- Strategy development and execution in accordance with the Product Line strategy (market, products, R&D, manufacturing)
- Portfolio management for products in the assigned region for Hitachi, Bosch and York branded light commercial Air Conditioning products
- Pricing strategy (setting and steering) in alignment with the country sales organizations
Experience and Knowledge:
- Strong command of P&L, business acumen
- Very good command of pricing waterfalls, margin and cost steering mechanisms
- Familiarity with working with large contractors, developers and commercial partners in the building sector
- Understand and manage legislation framework with country-specific regulations, deriving relevant requirements for product and market development
- Specific market knowledge of HVAC industry (technology, trends, competitors)
- Knowledge of sales channels, business models of key partners across the country sales organizations
- Extensive knowledge of Asian manufacturers´ landscape
- Technical knowledge of most common HVAC solutions and their usage in buildings
- Good knowledge of building architectural needs, regulatory framework by country and its impact on HVAC technology roadmap
- Good knowledge of supporting processes along the sales journey (marketing, pre-sales, training, after-sales, spare parts management)

- Solid understanding of strategic planning, decision-making, and change management
- Leadership skills across cross-functional and multicultural teams, in an intercultural setting
- International networking & intercultural abilities
- Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Languages: Fluent in English. Other European language(s) of advantage.
Education:
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Energy Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related technical field
- Additional qualifications in Business Administration, Product Management, or Innovation Management are advantageous
The role will be based in Vacarisses, Barcelona area / Spain.
