What You'll Bring:

  • 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 as a Business Partner/senior generalist 

  • Analytical thinking and experience with HRMS, ideally Workday 

  • Comfortable working in a high growth and fast-paced organization, constant changing environment with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask 

  • Experience within a matrixed management environment and with managing through influence, understanding group dynamics and communicate well at all levels 

  • Customer focus with strong interpersonal and communication skills  

  • Ability to work well as part of a team and individually with minimal supervision, as required 

  • Broader business knowledge a definite asset 

  • Outgoing, self-motivated, independent, strong presentation and interpersonal skills 

  • Highly organised, detailed oriented with a can-do attitude 

  • Good knowledge and well-versed with Philippines Employment Ordinance 

  • Exceptional computer skills 

  • University degree and an Human Resources diploma or equivalent 

Impact You'll Make:

As a key member of the Philippines Human Resources team, the HR Business Partner, Philippines reports to the Senior Director, Human Resources, Asia Pacific and supports designated areas of the business (client group) to provide generalist HR services as a single point of contact and business partner: 

  • Assist in building and implementing the organization and talent strategy and enhancing the capability of managers and leaders 

  • Understand the business unit strategy & use information\data to diagnose and identify current and trending needs. Sets the appropriate approach for Managers 

  • Lead / oversee strategic HR / BU projects with a DE&I and global lens (manager programs, onboarding, year-end cycle, goal setting, engagement/pulse surveys, development planning, change management) 

  • Measure success of the HR plans, and identify ways to improve upon the current methods, processes and thinking 

  • Consult with Talent Acquisition on recruitment needs for all approved positions. 

  • Manage associate onboarding, new hire learning, associate development, talent management and associate relations 

  • Lead employee engagement initiatives, assist in new programs deployment and follow through of HR initiatives, processes and systems 

  • Proactively driving positive employee relations and engagement by open communication and balancing associate advocacy and manager consultation on employee relations and performance management 

  • Provide operational human resources support and guidance in the areas of performance, career planning, resource planning, development, and supporting client group managers on talent management and driving engagement. 
     

In addition, supporting the HR team and business with: 

  • Managing HR projects end-to-end 

  • Company policies and procedures, revisions, implementation and communication Applying process to execute with excellence 

  • Assisting in people cost budget and forecast planning 

  • Coaching and counselling employees, managers and leaders on a variety of routine/moderately complex employee relations issues and providing problem resolution and conflict management guidance 

  • Proactively identifying areas for improvement and development plans/approaches to remediate employee issues 

  • Managing core HR practices (e.g. compensation administration, performance management) and partner with Centers of Excellence to ensure best practices and efficiencies. Act as a back-up for HRIS and benefit administration related duties, enforcing internal controls and maintaining data integrity on relevant systems, policy and statutory compliance 

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
