Hatchery Egg Setter 1st Shift

Hourly Production Russellville, Alabama


Description

Shift: 1st Shift 
Pay: $18.50
 
Key Responsibilities and Account abilities include but are not limited to:
  • Mediating damaging any eggs
  • Pulling and setting correct eggs for the assigned day
  • Keeping up with the flow of production without excessive damage to eggs or machinery
  • Setting egg flats with the flow of production
  • Remove empty egg buggy and transport to empty egg buggy wash
  • Ensure the equipment is running correctly
  • All other assigned task
 
Work Environment/ Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift overhead of up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in a heated environment, temperatures ranging from 80F to 100F
  • Standing for extended periods of time
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, with repetitive motion
  • Ability to work overtime as assigned
  • Frequently: lifting, turning, twisting, bending, squatting, pushing, grasping, kneeling, reach forward, pulling stretching. 
Knowledge, skills, and Abilities
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred
Experience/ Work History
  • Good Hand-Eye Coordination
