The Group Vice President (GVP), Canada Sales leader will drive market success across the Canadian region, focusing on expanding sales capabilities and shaping cross-functional ecosystem activities to build pipeline, deliver on sales targets, and capture market growth opportunities. In this role, you will develop and implement a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for the Canadian region. Success will require superb cross-functional leadership and collaboration with leaders across partnership & channels, marketing, customer success, renewals, product development and other functions. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and market expansion in Canada, while leading and developing a high-performing team of sales professionals. You will report directly to the SVP AMS Commercial and Emerging Market and work closely with other senior executive leaders across the company.

What you get to do:

  • Develop and execute a strategic 3-year plan that aligns with ServiceNow's vision, mission, and values, and delivers on the revenue and profitability targets for the region. 
  • Lead, organize, and manage executive-level strategic planning, sales programs, and operational cadence to drive operational rigor, continuous improvement and implement changes across our business in conjunction with functional leaders. 
  • Lead, coach, and inspire a team of AVP’s, Regional Sales Directors and field-based sales account executives, ensuring that they have the skills, tools, and resources to succeed in a complex and competitive sales environment. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and influencers in the region, and leverage them to create new business opportunities and drive customer loyalty and retention. 
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, pipeline, and forecast data, and provide timely and accurate feedback and guidance to the sales team and senior management. 
  • Identify and pursue new market segments, verticals, and solutions that align with ServiceNow's value proposition and differentiation. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including partnership & channels, customer success, marketing, product, services, and operations, to ensure alignment and coordination of sales activities and initiatives. 
  • Represent ServiceNow as a thought leader and industry expert in the region, and participate in relevant events, conferences, and media engagements. 
  • Ensure compliance with ServiceNow's policies, values, and ethics, and foster a culture of excellence, diversity, and inclusion within the sales organization. 
  • 15+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in enterprise software, cloud, or SaaS, with a proven track record of over-achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a large and complex region.
  • Highly effective leader with exceptional executive presence and communication skills, and a robust network of C-Suite connections across Canada. Proven ability to build consensus, negotiate effectively, and drive results at all levels, both within and outside the organization.
  • Exceptional coaching and mentoring skills, with a passion for developing and empowering sales talent. 
  • Strategic, analytical, and innovative thinker, with the ability to create and execute a compelling multi-country sales vision and go-to-market strategy.
  • Customer-centric and results-oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering value and solving customer problems. 
  • Innovative and entrepreneurial spirit, with a willingness to embrace change and challenge the status quo. 
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism, and a commitment to ServiceNow's core values. 
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required, MBA or advanced degree preferred. 
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within the region and occasionally to other locations.
