Responsibilities
• Reception and office duties, distribute mail, relay messages
• Administrative tasks
• Prioritize appointments and proactively resolve conflicts as they arise
• Proactively creates and maintains effective workflow and communications to accomplish the work. Including handling a variety of tasks and projects simultaneously
• Responds to phone and email inquiries – providing general information and referring inquires to the appropriate source.
• Assist residents, Executive Director and Management Team as required.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required
Qualifications:
• Post Secondary Education with a diploma in Office Administration
• Experience in an Office/Retirement Home setting preferred
• Extensive computer literacy skills incl. Word, Excel, Outlook and Yardi
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage time-sensitive tasks
• Pro-active approach and able to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work under pressure in busy, fast-paced environment
• Marketing skills an asset
