Printer SME

Printer SME is responsible for driving efficiency, automation, and innovation in enterprise print environments. This role focuses on optimizing print infrastructure, reducing physical printer footprint, enabling cloud-based printing, and supporting cost-effective Managed Print Services (MPS) operations.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Ownership

o Provide expert-level support for printer hardware (HP, Canon) and print management platforms (e.g., LRS, uniFLOW).

o Lead automation initiatives for driver deployment, firmware updates, and print queue management.

• Optimization & Strategy

o Analyze print usage to reduce device count and consolidate infrastructure.

o Implement cost-saving measures through usage analytics, secure printing, and policy enforcement.

• Cloud & Modernization

o Drive adoption of cloud printing solutions (e.g., Microsoft Universal Print).

o Support hybrid work models with secure, location-agnostic print capabilities.

• Vendor & Lifecycle Management

o Coordinate with OEMs and service providers for device provisioning, maintenance, and SLA adherence.

o Manage toner supply workflows and ensure alignment with sustainability goals
