Graduate Electrical Designer
- Role Overview:
The Junior Electrical BIM Modeller supports the design and documentation of electrical systems in building projects by developing and maintaining Building Information Models (BIM). This entry-level role is ideal for candidates looking to build expertise in BIM and electrical building services. - Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and updating 3D BIM models for electrical systems (lighting, power, fire alarms, etc.) using Revit, AutoCAD MEP, or similar software.
- Incorporate markups and design changes as directed by senior modellers or engineers.
- Ensure models are accurate and comply with project requirements.
- Generate basic drawings, layouts, and schedules from BIM models under supervision.
- Help prepare documentation for design reviews and construction.
- Collaborate with other team members (architectural, structural, and MEP) to integrate electrical models.
- Participate in coordination meetings and learn to identify and resolve basic design clashes.
- Follow established BIM standards and protocols.
- Assist in model checks and reviews to maintain quality and consistency.
- Attend training sessions and actively seek to improve BIM skills and understanding of electrical systems.
- Stay updated with the latest BIM tools and industry practices.

Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of Experience of BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD MEP).
- Understanding of electrical systems in building services (preferred but not mandatory).
- Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.
