The Role and Impact: Intel is seeking an accomplished Principal Engineer for GPU Design Verification to push the boundaries of graphics microarchitecture and ensure the functionality and reliability of our cutting-edge graphics processing units. In this critical role, you will play a pivotal part in Intel's ability to deliver next-generation GPU technologies to market, empowering industries and consumers with exceptional performance, efficiency, and functionality. As a domain expert, you will influence technical direction across Intel and the industry while mentoring future leaders and refining our verification methodologies. Your contributions will directly support Intel's mission to deliver leadership solutions in the GPU technology landscape and drive meaningful change in computing innovation. Key Responsibilities: - Perform functional verification of GPU logic components, including 3D graphics, media, and display, ensuring compliance with specification requirements. - Define and develop scalable and reusable IP verification plans, test benches, and architectures tailored to graphics microarchitecture specifications. - Execute comprehensive verification plans by utilizing system simulation models to verify designs, analyze power and timing, and uncover design bugs. - Replicate, root cause, and debug issues in the presilicon environment, implementing corrective measures to address failing test cases. - Collaborate effectively with GPU architects, RTL developers, and physical design teams to refine and verify complex architectural and microarchitectural features. - Document test plans, lead technical reviews, and ensure alignment with design and architecture teams. - Maintain and optimize existing functional verification infrastructure and methodology while driving the definition of new verification infrastructures and related TFMs. - Mentor and develop other technical leaders, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering and 12+ years of experience in silicon design development. - Extensive expertise in OVMUVM-based test benches, checker development, and detailed test plan creation. - Demonstrated experience in simulation, emulation debugging, and Formal validation, including FPGA platforms. - Proven ability to debug, analyze, and resolve complex design bugs in presilicon environments. - Proficiency in verification tools and protocols with strong knowledge of hardware architecture and graphics microarchitecture principles. Preferred Qualifications: - In-depth understanding of graphics architecture and design principles. - Established track record of driving technical strategy, executing solutions aligned with organizational goals, and mentoring diverse teams. - Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with a passion for innovation and leadership. Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $220,920.00-311,890.00 USD

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Work Model for this Role
